Telekom Srbija Group has completed the takeover from United Group of NET TV Plus, program broadcaster for the diaspora market, as well as of satellite television Total TV in Serbia and North Macedonia.
Clients of NET TV Plus in the diaspora will get access to more than 150 additional channels, for a total of 362 TV channels, featuring the most attractive sports, movies, series, news and entertainment content from Telekom Srbija’s portfolio. Viewers of NET TV across Europe and the globe can now enjoy a rich sports content through Arena Sport channels. Users will have access to brand-new local series and movies through channels such as Superstar TV, as well as all RTS channels, but also the most popular regional and local channels from Serbia and the region. In addition to an extended channel offering, NET TV users will also enjoy a considerably enriched offer of local series and movies through the Video on Demand (VoD) service. NET TV users in Germany, Switzerland and Austria will be offered the additional option to become, under very favourable terms, users of MTEL mobile services, a tailor-made offer catering to the needs of our people in the diaspora.
Existing NET TV users will keep their devices and payment method will remain the same.
Telekom Srbija, as the leading telecommunications group in the Western Balkans, has reinforced its offer of satellite TV by taking over Total TV. As early as April, Total TV users will be able to watch various channels offered by Telekom Srbija. In this way, all households watching TV programs via Total TV will enjoy the best sports content around the world on Arena Sport channels, now broadcasting the sports content of Sport Klub as well, and the most attractive local series and movies shown on Superstar TV channels.
Through the acquisition of Total TV and NET TV Plus, Telekom Srbija has reasserted its leadership in the domain of multimedia content distribution in Serbia, the region, and with the regional diaspora, said Telekom Srbija CEO Vladimir Lučić, and added: “All customers who watched TV programs via Total TV in Serbia and North Macedonia, or via NET TV across the world, will now have a much larger number of channels available. I would lay a special emphasis on the channels featuring the best sports and series – Arena Sport and Superstar. I am convinced that all our customers will enjoy new content and that the number of our customers in Serbia, in the region, but also in the diaspora will grow in the future.
Telekom Srbija will carry on the investments in multimedia contents, along with maintaining and enhancing the quality of its service to ensure a seamless user experience to its customers around the world.
