Business Milestones and Corporate History Timeline

1997

Founded in May by transfer of assets from Public Enterprise PTT Traffic “Srbija”

1998

Started providing mobile services in Serbian market as the second operator

2003

PTT purchased the shares held by Telecom Italia

2006

Introduced 3G Launched ADSL internet service

2007

Acquisition of 65% stake in Telekom Srpske

2007

Mtel obtained license to become third mobile operator in Montenegro

2009

Started providing IPTV services

2010

Telekom Srpske acquired remaining 49% stake in mtel

PTT transferred shares to Republic of Serbia

2011

Started providing Bundle packages

2012

OTE sold all its shares and Company became owner of 20% of equity. The Republic of Serbia distributes cca 22% of its shares to citizens, employees and former employees of the Company and the Post of Serbia

2014

Acquired a 55,8% stake in Dunav banka (mts Banka following acquisition)

2015

Introduction of 4G

2016

Started with FTTH Transformation of fixed network

2020

Integration of cable operators, acquisitioned in 2018-2019 into one company MojaSupernova

2021

Set up first venture capital fond

2021

Launched DTH operator in North Macedonia

2021

Integration of MojaSupernova in Telekom Srbija

2022

Launched mtel company in Switzerland

2022

Launched mobile telephony in mtel North Macedonia.
