The Telekom Srbija company, a leader in the field of production and distribution of featured content successfully organized a semi-final judging for the prestigious International Emmy® Award in the category TV Movie/Mini-Series at the Radisson hotel yesterday evening. The semi-final judging for the said award was held for the first time in Belgrade, which confirmed the Company’s commitment to contribute to the development of filmmaking in Serbia, and its position in global terms.
“It is a great honor that Serbia is the host of the first semi-final judging in this year’s cycle of International Emmy® Awards – one of the most prestigious recognitions in the world of television production. This event is a strong indicator that our work is recognized on a global level, but also a confirmation that Serbia occupies an increasingly important place in the international creative and production industry. The fact that an important stage of the International Emmy® judging is held in Belgrade confirms Serbia’s reputation as a reliable and relevant partner in this sector”, said Aleksandra Martinović, director of the Multimedia Department of the Telekom Srbija company.
The voting in Serbia, held under the supervision of a representative from the International Academy of Television Art and Sciences, Derek Nguyen, gathered prominent representatives of the film and television industry and marked the beginning of this year’s voting cycle, which will be held in various countries across the globe.

The actress Tamara Krcunović, the acting director of the Film Center Serbia, Ivan Karl, the director Nemanja Ćeranić, the composer Aleksandra Kovač, the producer Anđelka Vlaisavljević, are just some of the names who made up the twelve-member jury who voted for one of the categories of the prestigious International Emmy® Award last night.
After the judging process, the semi-finals evening continued with a festive cocktail on the terrace of the hotel which hosted numerous guests from the world of film, television and music.
The organizers of the judging process for the International Emmy® Award have so far been some of the globally most recognizable production companies, such as Netflix, Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros Discovery, Latin America, the Brazilian Globo TV and others, which testifies to the long tradition and reputation of both the award itself and its numerous partners and associates, among which is Telekom Srbija.
The winners in each of the categories will be announced during the award-granting ceremony of the International Emmy® Awards, which is traditionally held in New York, and is this year scheduled for 24 November. The mentioned award has been attracting significant attention of the world public for several years, and some of the most famous works that have received this award are the series La Casa De Papel and Black Mirror.
