The MTEL Turkey company, the most recent member of the Telekom Srbija group, marked its first anniversary of operations on the Turkish market. On this occasion, a solemn ceremony was held, which was attended by many reputed persons from Turkey, Serbia and the region.
The celebration of MTEL Turkey’s first anniversary in Istanbul was graced by the presence of the Serbian information and telecommunications minister, Dejan Ristić, the president of the Mesihat of the Islamic Community in Serbia, mufti Dr Mevlud Dudić, the consuls general of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia in Istanbul, the deputy mayor of Novi Pazar, the presidents of numerous associations from the territory of the former Yugoslavia gathered in Turkey, along with many other distinguished guests.
The host of the evening was the director of the MTEL Turkey company, Zoran Drašković, who welcomed the guests and said that the credit for the expansion of Telekom Srbija into the Turkish market belonged to the CEO of Telekom Srbija, Vladimir Lučić, whose vision resulted in the expansion of operations into the European and world markets. “Given that the parent company from which I come from, the Telekom Srbija group, operates on the markets throughout Europe and the world, with over 11 million satisfied customers, we wanted to offer our services created to meet the needs of contemporary customers on the Turkish market, as well. Available to all users of our television is the best film and series program as well as music from the Balkans, and for those who prefer sports, MTEL Turkey offers the richest sports content, both from the territory of the former Yugoslavia and the entire world. We are glad that we are starting to gain the trust of the customers and we hope to expand the network of satisfied customers throughout Turkey in the forthcoming period”, said Zoran Drašković.
The ceremony was held in the spirit of friendship and cooperation, and the guests enjoyed the rich cultural and artistic program. The celebration of MTEL Turkey’s anniversary is not only the highlight of the successful first year of the company’s operation, but also an announcement of further ambitious plans for the future that will contribute to a closer cooperation between Serbia and Turkey.
