Brussels, 8 February 2023 – Serbia’s leading telecommunications company, Telekom Srbija, officially launched its new Brussels office, following the practice of major European telcos.
The company thus boosts its access to funds, primarily in the domain of developing digital services and 5G infrastructure. Likewise, launching the office will help reinforce the relationship with European institutions, which is important for several reasons, one of them being a faster implementation and grasping of legal regulation.
Telekom Srbija CEO, Vladimir Lučić, and Brussels office Director, Damir Hrustanović welcomed EU officials and other members of the policy community to the opening ceremony at the new office.
Telekom Srbija CEO, Vladimir Lučić, said, “The new Telekom Srbija office demonstrates our strategic commitment to expanding business in Europe and to cooperation with our European counterparts, in order to stay ahead of industry trends and provide unparalleled customer service. We are fully committed to European principles and values.”
Brussels office Director, Damir Hrustanović, added: “Through this new hub, we will contribute our technical expertise and experience on international, European, and national levels, by cooperating closely with the relevant EU stakeholders and through participation in the activities of the leading, Brussels-based, telecommunications associations. Our links with leading industry groups will ensure that we are up-to-date and fully connected.”
