On 18 March 2026, Telekom Srbija launched two new mobile telephony base stations in the villages of Gornjani and Tanda, near Bor, and thus continued to intensely develop the network infrastructure in rural areas. On this occasion, CEO Vladimir Lučić said that one of the key strategic goals of the company is complete mobile signal coverage of the Serbian territory.
“Our goal is to achieve a 100 percent coverage by mobile telephony. We want the people to stay in the villages, and we want to create the best possible living and working conditions for them. We are trying to modernize the society technologically so that all parts of our country have equal opportunities for development”, said Lučić.

On the same day, the company launched into operation another two base stations – in the villages of Zlot and Bela Reka – thanks to which the overall investment of Telekom Srbija in this territory amounted to EUR 600,000.
Apart from launching the base stations into operation, Mr Lučić together with Arena Channels Group Director Nebojša Žugić also visited two elementary schools in Gornjani and Tandi, where the youngest pupils were given sports equipment.
