Marija Spasić

Chief Finance Officer

Born in 1980 in Belgrade where she completed her primary and secondary education. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Belgrade University (Accounting, Audit and Financial Management).

Her working career commenced in 2007 with Daneza M Inženjering d.o.o. as an accountant. Owing to her efforts, commitment and performance, she was promoted to the position of the head of the accounting department. During the following six years, her daily responsibilities extended, among other things, to the organization and control of the activities of the Materials Accounting Section, Employee Earnings Calculation Section and the Controlling Section; cooperation and coordination with the Centre for Lager Taxpayers, comprehensive internal reporting to the management, etc…

The expertise and experience she had acquired recommended her for the position of CFO of Jugohemija a.d. Beograd in 2013. During her work, she was confronted with many challenges, one of the biggest being the restructuring of the entire corporate system and cooperation with banks in the process of rescheduling of bank loans.

In 2014, she was appointed CFO of Ratko Mitrović Konstruktor d.o.o. Beograd, only soon to be promoted to the position of the chief officer of Ratko Mitrović Holding a.d. Beograd. There, she had an opportunity to apply the expertise she had acquired and organize the activities relating to accounting and finance for the purpose of optimizing and improving the operation and efficiency of the entire holding.

After working as the head of the accounting section of Hyundai d.o.o. Beograd for one year (in the period between 2017 and 2018), in June 2018 she began to work for Kopernikus Technology d.o.o. Beograd (present-day Moja Supernova d.o.o. Beograd), a subsidiary of Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd. Her efforts and permanent engagement in the resolution of many issues were recognized by the management of Telekom Srbija so that in April 2019, she was appointed CFO in charge of organizing and managing the finance and accounting sections of all subsidiaries which operated under the Supernova brand. She also played an active part in the implementation of the new software and introduction of the billing system for several subsidiaries of Telekom Srbija a.d. Beograd. Defining a uniform method of work, with clear instructions and double controls, of all finance sections of Moja Supernova d.o.o. Beograd, was yet another in a string of challenges she successfully dealt with.

Her operative engagement so far on all accounting positions, the design and implementation of different accounting softwares, her qualifications and experiences pertaining to the company management process, primarily the organization and coordination of the activities within the Finance Department, recommend her for further successful development of her career and new challenges, particularly in view of her constant desire to work and acquire fresh knowledge.

Marija is a person who boasts good communication skills developed through her long-standing experience in operative and managerial activities. In addition, she is accurate, reliable, responsible, flexible, team-oriented and a true team leader.

She speaks English.

She is a proud mother of one child.
