Superstar was the most watched cable channel in Serbia in 2023, according to the data of a specialized rating research agency of the Nielsen television. During eleven (of the twelve) months of 2023, Superstar was convincingly ranked first leaving the competition far behind, and viewed per quarter, it was by far the most watched cable channel in each quarter of 2023. For as many as 229 days Superstar was the most watched cable channel among the audience between 18 and 49 years of age.
From its foundation in 2018 Superstar was recognized by fans of film and series content as the place of the best entertainment and the viewers chose it as the best channel among not only domestic channels, but also among the increasingly popular world streaming platforms. Since then until present day, Superstar has remained a synonym for premieres of the best series and films produced by Telekom Srbija, but also a place where the biggest box office hits are broadcast.
The past year on Superstar was marked, among else, by the series “Toma”, “The Fall” (“Pad”), “My Father’s Murderers” (“Ubice mog oca”), “The Tunnel” (“Tunel”), “The Kalkan Circles” (“Kalkanski krugovi”) and “South Wind” (“Južni vetar”). During the broadcasting of the most interesting episodes of these series, Superstar was even more watched than certain national frequency channels.
